Yellow Hall of Fall

I was in awe this morning as walked down the path that was once the railroad line into Lock Ridge Furnace. The sun glowed through the remaining yellow leaves on the tree and then reflected off of the blanket of fallen leaves on the ground. It felt like I was in some grand hall. iPhone 5s with color adjusted in SnapSeed.

These red berries always catch my eye when walking in the park. They are the only thing that seems to be alive when all the other vegetation lies dormant in the Winter, iPhone 5s and post processed in Google Snapseed.

Baby Howler, Playa de Coco, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

‘ ‘ We headed into town to check out the action. As we emerged from the rental Yaris, I spotted the Howlers in the tree above. It was dusk so the lower light made for a slower shutter speed and the slight breeze nicely blurred the leaves and branches. Fortunately a steady hand managed to keep the little fellow quite sharp.
